THE SHORT ANSWER
First locate the failing layer: link function, campaign tagging, message continuity, market eligibility, event firing or valid orders. Do not reject a creator from one overall conversion rate. Connect views, clicks, landing sessions, key steps and valid orders in one campaign and device window, then calculate loss at each step.
Verify links and campaign tags first
Click every published link and check redirects, mobile behavior, region and offer code. Use consistent source, medium, campaign and content naming so capitalization or abbreviations do not split one campaign.
Save a test visit before launch and confirm analytics, ad platform and order systems recognize it. If a link fails or an intermediate page strips parameters, downstream attribution has no reliable base.
Check content-to-page message continuity
Record the clearest promise, product demonstration and call to action in the creator content, then compare the landing page headline, product, price, language and evidence. People may leave a technically healthy page when the expected answer is missing.
Message continuity does not mean copying every phrase. Continue the core problem and product role while keeping approved facts and compliant language.
Calculate the event funnel layer by layer
Track link clicks, valid landing sessions, product views, key actions, checkout starts and valid orders. Four thousand clicks, 3,200 valid arrivals, 1,280 product interactions, 320 checkouts and 160 valid orders imply 80% arrival, 40% interaction and 50% checkout-to-order.
The largest absolute drop is not always the easiest fix. Break results down by device, market and page version to find concentrated friction.
Include market and operational constraints
Inventory, currency, shipping, login, payment and offer fulfillment can all affect creator traffic. Review error logs, support questions and out-of-stock regions rather than labeling operational failures as audience mismatch.
Change one major factor next time—first screen, offer path or load issue—while keeping the content job comparable. Record both landing-page and campaign versions in the QuickKOL review.
Record every post-click step separately
Google Analytics recommends consistent utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign tagging. Creator programs should also identify creator, asset and placement and verify that parameters survive the landing page. Report platform clicks, valid arrivals, key actions, checkout and valid orders as separate steps.
If content produces 12,000 clicks, 10,200 valid arrivals, 2,040 product actions, 510 checkouts and 306 valid orders after the refund window, arrival rate is 85%, arrival-to-action rate 20%, checkout-to-order rate 60% and click-to-order rate 2.55%. If clicks are high but arrivals are 54%, inspect load time, geography or broken links before rejecting the creative.
Creator landing-page funnel
Keep the event definition and deduplication rule for every stage.
| Stage | Definition | Common issue |
|---|---|---|
| Click | Platform outbound click | Duplicates and accidental taps |
| Valid arrival | Page loads with parameters | Speed, restriction, broken link |
| Key action | View, trial, cart | Different event setup |
| Valid order | No refund, cancellation or test | Window still open |
