THE SHORT ANSWER
Signature does not automatically start execution. Use a 30–45 minute kickoff to convert the agreement into one shared operating record: current version, contacts, deliverables, product and account access, milestones, review, disclosure, data and payment. Send a one-page confirmation afterward for correction. New requests enter change control rather than disappearing into chat.
Translate contract terms into operating fields
Extract quantity, platform, format, length, dates, revisions, rights, ad permissions, exclusivity, payment and cancellation. Link every field to the signed version so the team does not use an old quote or brief.
A simplified operating view can improve daily tracking but cannot change meaning. Resolve conflicts through the signed document and authorized owner.
Confirm contacts and decision authority
List creator, agent, brand campaign owner, product expert, reviewer, finance and emergency contact. Assign one final confirmer for each issue so conflicting feedback does not reach the creator.
Confirm primary channel, time zone, response window and what qualifies as an emergency. Do not repeat non-urgent questions across channels.
Make product and account access ready before production
Check samples, test accounts, codes, access, brand assets and technical support. Complex products need setup time and a minimum experience period rather than a final asset due on arrival day.
Use a secure channel for credentials and set expiry. The kickoff record stores owner and status, not passwords or sensitive material.
Start execution with milestones and completion criteria
Milestones include product arrival, concept, draft, feedback, final, publication, data snapshot and payment. Give each a date, owner, input and definition of done.
Send confirmation within 24 hours and ask the creator to flag only mismatches. QuickKOL keeps pre-signature promises, execution records and payment status in one relationship context.
The first post-signature handoff shapes downstream rework
Within 24–48 hours of signature, send one launch package covering objective, audience, product access, deliverables, timeline, approved facts, disclosure, contacts, payment and escalation. Do not make the creator reconstruct the latest version from ten emails and three drives. Use the kickoff for decisions requiring both sides, then update the written record.
A six-week project may use seven milestones: product arrival, concept, draft, fact review, final, publication and payment, each with one owner and entry rule. If product delivery slips four days, update concept and publication windows rather than chasing an obsolete date. QuickKOL connects scope, brief, versions and status so a new teammate can recover the decision context.
